Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Tally, a time-tracking and invoicing app operated by QY LLC (“Tally”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Tally, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Tally.

1. The service

Tally helps you track billable time, organize clients and projects, and create invoices, across iPhone, Mac, and the web. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use Tally. Provide accurate information when you sign up.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Tally offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions (for example, monthly and annual plans) that unlock additional features such as invoicing.
• Subscriptions purchased on iPhone or Mac are auto-renewable and billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we generally cannot issue refunds directly for App Store purchases.
• Prices may change; we’ll give notice of changes as required, and changes won’t affect your current paid period.

4. Your content and data

The time entries, clients, projects, invoices, notes, and other content you create are yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and sync that content solely to provide the service to you. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Please use Tally lawfully. Don’t misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it to store or transmit unlawful content.

6. Intellectual property

Tally, including its name, logo, design, and software, is owned by QY LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimers

Tally is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to keep it reliable and accurate, we don’t warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. You’re responsible for reviewing your time entries and invoices before relying on or sending them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QY LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Tally. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using Tally and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to comply with the law. You can export or delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which QY LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
